Eden Gardens witnessed an unforgettable scene during the IPL 2025 opener on March 23, 2025, as a die-hard Virat Kohli supporter jumped multiple barricades, risking it all for a chance to get close to the batting maestro.  This craze was once again seen in the first match of IPL 2025 on Saturday. In this match between KKR and RCB, a fan crossed the thorny bushes and jumped into the field. After this, he also reaches Kohli who is batting. Now its video has also surfaced.

The fan reached the field by jumping.
 There was a moment in this match when a fan reached the field to meet him. Before this, he crossed the barbed wire fence which was put to stop the entry of spectators in the playing area. Then this fan of Kohli reached the field. After reaching the field, he bowed down at the feet of Virat Kohli.

Kohli, this fan stands up and hugs him tightly. By then the umpire standing at square leg comes running towards Kohli. Along with this, other security personnel also reached there. These people somehow separated the fan from Kohli and took him out. Even while going out, that fan was waving his hands in great enthusiasm.

Kohli's fan breaches security

After the excellent performance of the bowlers led by Krunal Pandya and Josh Hazlewood, there was aggressive batting by Virat Kohli (59 not out) and Phil Salt (56). Due to this, RCB won by seven wickets over KKR with 22 balls to spare. Kohli held one end by hitting four fours and three sixes in his unbeaten innings of 36 balls, while from the other end he got good support from Salt and captain Rajat Patidar.
